The heart of the XO-1 is its power system. The unique speed control and ‘Big Block’ motor combination is based on the proven Castle Creations Mamba Monster. From its integrated capacitor bank to the proprietary software created just for the XO-1, the Mamba Monster Extreme ESC represents the ultimate in big-volt power delivery. The Big Block motor features a finned, heat-dissipating can, premium quality ABEC-1 bearings, sintered Neodymium magnets, and superior electromagnetic design for massive acceleration and true supercar performance with the largest brushless motor ever offered in a Ready-To-Race model. 

XO-1 unleashes its brutal brushless power through all four tires via a shaft-driven All Wheel Drive system equipped with the patent pending Cush Drive™ system. A custom-shaped elastomer damper between the spur gear and the drive hub absorbs drivetrain shock. The result is instant acceleration with no wasted power. New splined steel driveshafts transfer power to 17mm aluminum hex hubs and spin on over sized 6x12mm bearings.
